Continuing the non-plussed mutter this month; Pinterest have become extremely tiresome, in addition to their new approach of non-informing when they censor, another new approach is to make boards unavailable to the public yet they appear to be available on my profile page. The latest victim of this strategy is the sanitized version for Deviation; obviously not sanitized enough.

Aha – it seems to be a Big Problem: when I Google ‘Pinterest censoring’ there are masses of references. It would appear Pinterest’s virtue signalling is doing more harm to themselves than any ‘good’ it may believe it is doing, since people are closing accounts having suffered from completely unrealistic censoring. Well, should they continue removing my boards then I, too, will close my account.

I have now re-built a sanitized board for Deviation, we shall see how that fares… Nope, it was okay for a week – three pins have now been removed, one I could just about understand at a stretch but the other two were fine. Pfffff…

Tradie-lady writing continues in fits and starts; I need a more positive frame of mind than I appear to have at the moment. Maybe I can order one from Amazon…
